INTRODUCTION

Hello, my name is Joan Alexandra Gilfone-Bullock, but I prefer to be called Alex. Nursing is a second career for me and I am currently work in Pre-Admission Testing at Chippenham Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. Before graduating from Nursing School at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, I worked as an Administrative Assistant, as well as a high school English teacher for one year. In addition to an Associate of Science in Nursing, I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a Minor in French. I am looking forward to completing my BSN at ODU and moving on to bigger and better opportunities that will open up once I have achieved my BSN.
